City of Anaheim & Anaheim Hills
In 1857, Anaheim was the first planned community in Southern California. The community began with just 1,165 acres desigated for city lots, housing and vineyards.
The city of Anaheim today has grown to cover most of the North Orange County Santa Ana River floodplain and a large portion of Santa Ana Canyon's southeastern slope. This southeastern slope is known as Anaheim Hills.
Anaheim offers activities for visitors throughout the city. From shopping to picnicing in the park or riding a rollar coaster, there's a place for you. If you visit the Anaheim Resort and Platinum Triangle, you can enjoy the City National Grove of Anaheim, Angel Stadium of Anaheim, Disneyland Resort, Downtown Disney, The Shops at Anaheim GardenWalk, and the Honda Center. Anaheim is a wonderful place to visit year round since it has a warm climate much of the year. It also has access to many airports, and offers fast, convenient acces to everywhere you want to go.
