4th of July Fireworks at Fullerton High Schools stadium from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Fireworks start at 9:00pm and will last approx. 20 minutes. Other entertainment consist of live music, food booths and additional entertainment. (Nominal fees may apply for activities).
The Farmers Market is believed to be the oldest farmers' market in Orange County. It offers fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, fish, flowers, plants, nuts & breads. It is located at Independence Park, 801 W. Valencia Dr. on Wednesdays from 8:00am to 2:00pm.
First Night in Fullerton is held on December 31st. The event's goal is to broaden public appreciation of the visual and performing arts while offering an alternative to the traditional New Yea's Eve celebrations.
Fullerton Market also offers farm-fresh produce, flowers, fresh-baked breads, live entertainment, outdoor beer garden, arts and crafts, and activities for children. In addition to the traditional favorites, new vendors will be added each week. The Fullerton Market is located in the Downtown Plaza on Wilshire Avenue and is open April 7th thru October 27th on Thursdays from 4 to 8:30pm. Admission is free.
Memorial Day Ceremony is held on Monday, May 30th at 10:00 am at Loma Vista Memorial Park located at 701 E. Bastanchury Road. Community volunteers will place a cross and flag on more than 3,800 veterans' graves throughout the cemetery.
Snow Day at the Brea Dam Park has tons of frosty snow delivered to the dam for youngsters to sled, make snow people and have snowball fights. Space is limited to 900. Early registration is required. Call the Parks and Recreation at 714-738-6575 for more information and registration.
Veterans Day Ceremony is located at Veterans Memorial in Hillcrest Park. Parade will begin at 10:30 starting in the Downtown Plaza and ending at Hillcrest Park. The Ceremony will begin at 11:00am. For more information please call Fullerton American Legion at 714-871-2412.
